Last updated: September 16, 2026
PHARMÉCRIT respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information PHARMÉCRIT may collect when you visit pharmecrit.com, how that information is used, the service providers that may process information in connection with the website, and the privacy choices and rights that may be available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the PHARMÉCRIT website. Separate terms may apply to information handled as part of a client engagement.
1. Information You Provide
Contact Form
If you contact PHARMÉCRIT through the website, you may choose to provide information such as your:
- name;
- organization;
- email address;
- project or inquiry details;
- desired timeline;
- referral source; and
- other information you choose to include.
The Contact form uses Elementor Pro. Form submissions are sent to PHARMÉCRIT by email and are also stored in the website's WordPress database.
PHARMÉCRIT uses this information to review and respond to inquiries, communicate about potential projects, and maintain related business correspondence. Contact-form information is not used for unrelated marketing.
Please do not submit confidential patient information, personal health information, medical records or other sensitive health information through the general Contact form.
PHARMÉCRIT does not collect payment information through the website.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you use the website, certain technical and usage information may be processed through website hosting, analytics, security and performance services.
Depending on the service and your consent choices, this may include:
- pages visited;
- website interactions;
- session information;
- browser and device information;
- approximate geographic information;
- referring sources;
- IP addresses or other technical request information; and
- security-related information.
Not every service collects every type of information listed above.
3. Google Analytics
PHARMÉCRIT uses Google Analytics 4, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand general website use and improve website content and performance.
If you consent to Analytics, Google Analytics may process information about your visit, including page views, interactions, session information, browser and device information, approximate geographic information and referring sources.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar technologies where Analytics storage is permitted.
PHARMÉCRIT uses Google Analytics for website measurement and improvement. It is not used by PHARMÉCRIT for personalized advertising, remarketing or cross-context behavioural advertising.
Guide-specific engagement is measured separately through the PHARMÉCRIT Activity Dashboard described below.
4. PHARMÉCRIT Conversation Guide Activity
PHARMÉCRIT uses a first-party system called the PHARMÉCRIT Activity Dashboard to understand how visitors use its Conversation Guides.
The system records aggregate counts for activities such as:
- individual Guide views;
- A4 and phone PDF downloads;
- clicks from a Guide to the PHARMÉCRIT Services page; and
- reader-feedback responses of Yes, Somewhat or No.
These counts are stored within the PHARMÉCRIT WordPress database.
The PHARMÉCRIT Activity Dashboard does not store visitor names, email addresses, IP addresses, cookies, persistent visitor identifiers, device identifiers or free-text responses.
PHARMÉCRIT does not use this Guide activity to identify individual visitors or infer that an identifiable visitor has a particular medical condition, diagnosis, treatment, procedure, medication use or other health status.
PHARMÉCRIT does not sell consumer health information.
5. Cookies and Your Choices
The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential website functionality, consent management, analytics, security and performance.
PHARMÉCRIT uses Complianz to provide visitors with controls for optional Analytics. Consent choices are communicated to Google services through the website's consent configuration and Google Consent Mode.
You can accept or decline optional Analytics through the consent interface. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Necessary technologies may still be used to operate, secure and protect the website even when optional Analytics is declined.
PHARMÉCRIT does not use the website's cookies for personalized advertising or remarketing.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The website is configured to recognize supported Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and apply those privacy preferences to optional Analytics.
PHARMÉCRIT does not sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Third-party service providers may process technical information when their services are used on the website, as described in this Policy. PHARMÉCRIT does not knowingly enable third-party advertising trackers to build advertising profiles from your activity on the PHARMÉCRIT website.
California law specifically requires covered website operators to explain how they respond to DNT or similar mechanisms and whether third parties may collect information through the site.
7. Hosting, Security and Backups
The PHARMÉCRIT website is built on WordPress and hosted by Hostinger.
Website files, the WordPress database and hosting-level backups are managed within the Hostinger hosting environment.
PHARMÉCRIT also uses Cloudflare for website security and traffic protection. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request information and security-related information to protect the website, detect malicious traffic and prevent abuse or automated bot activity.
The website uses HTTPS/SSL and other hosting-level security measures.
Website backups may contain information that existed in the WordPress database when a backup was created, including Contact-form submissions. Information deleted from the live website may therefore remain temporarily within backups until those backups are replaced or deleted through normal backup processes.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. How PHARMÉCRIT Uses Information
PHARMÉCRIT may use information collected through the website to:
- respond to inquiries and communicate about potential projects;
- provide information or services requested by visitors;
- operate and maintain the website;
- understand general website usage;
- protect the website from fraud, abuse or security threats;
- maintain appropriate business records; and
- meet applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
PHARMÉCRIT limits its use of personal information to purposes reasonably related to why the information was collected, unless another use is permitted or required by law.
9. Service Providers
PHARMÉCRIT uses third-party service providers to operate, secure and maintain the website.
These include:
Hostinger, for website hosting, infrastructure, security and backups.
Google, for website analytics, Site Kit, Search Console and externally loaded Google Fonts.
Cloudflare, for security and traffic protection.
Elementor, for website and Contact-form functionality.
PHARMÉCRIT's business email provider, for receiving and storing email correspondence.
Other technical providers may support website caching, performance or administration without being used to create advertising profiles about visitors.
When Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, a visitor's browser may transmit technical request information, such as an IP address, to Google so that the font files can be delivered.
PHARMÉCRIT may also disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to valid legal process or where reasonably necessary to address fraud or security concerns.
10. Processing Outside Canada
Some service providers used by PHARMÉCRIT operate infrastructure in multiple countries.
As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States and other jurisdictions where those providers or their service providers operate.
Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies or other government authorities where lawful access is permitted.
11. Sale, Advertising and Profiling
PHARMÉCRIT does not sell personal information.
PHARMÉCRIT does not use website information for personalized advertising, remarketing or cross-context behavioural advertising.
PHARMÉCRIT does not use website activity to create advertising profiles about visitors.
If these practices change, this Privacy Policy and the website's consent controls will be reviewed and updated as required.
12. Data Retention
Elementor Pro Contact-form submissions are stored in the WordPress database and are not configured for automatic deletion. They remain stored until they are manually deleted.
There is therefore no automatic fixed deletion period for Contact-form submissions. PHARMÉCRIT retains submissions and related business correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, maintain appropriate business records, address disputes or security matters, or meet applicable legal requirements. Submissions are manually deleted when they are no longer reasonably required for these purposes.
Copies of submitted information may remain temporarily in website backups until those backups are replaced or deleted through Hostinger's normal backup processes.
Email correspondence may be retained separately as part of PHARMÉCRIT's business records.
Canadian privacy principles require collection to be limited to what is needed and personal information to be retained only as long as required for the identified purposes.
13. Children's Privacy
The PHARMÉCRIT website is not directed to children under 13, and PHARMÉCRIT does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.
If PHARMÉCRIT learns that such information has been submitted, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.
14. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- ask whether PHARMÉCRIT holds personal information about you;
- request access to personal information PHARMÉCRIT holds about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of certain personal information;
- ask how your personal information has been used or disclosed;
- withdraw consent for certain uses, subject to applicable restrictions; or
- raise a concern about PHARMÉCRIT's privacy practices.
Additional rights may apply under the laws of your province, territory or U.S. state.
PHARMÉCRIT may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. Certain legal exceptions may limit a request in particular circumstances.
To make a privacy request, contact PHARMÉCRIT using the information at the end of this Policy.
15. Canadian Privacy Requests and Complaints
Individuals in Canada may request access to personal information under PHARMÉCRIT's control and request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, subject to applicable law.
You may also ask questions or raise a concern about PHARMÉCRIT's privacy practices.
If a concern cannot be resolved directly with PHARMÉCRIT, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another privacy regulator with jurisdiction over the matter.
Canadian privacy guidance specifically calls for organizations to explain their personal-information practices, how individuals can request access, and where privacy questions or complaints can be directed.
16. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights if the applicable law applies to PHARMÉCRIT.
Depending on the jurisdiction, these rights may include access, correction, deletion or a copy of certain personal information, as well as rights concerning certain sales, targeted advertising or profiling.
PHARMÉCRIT does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising.
California residents may also request information about the personal information PHARMÉCRIT holds about them and request changes where applicable by using the contact information below.
California's online privacy law applies to commercial websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers and requires the privacy policy to explain the categories collected, third-party involvement, procedures for requesting changes and online-tracking practices.
Nothing in this section limits a right available to you under applicable U.S. law.
17. Third-Party Websites
The PHARMÉCRIT website may contain links to websites or services operated by other organizations.
PHARMÉCRIT does not control the privacy practices of those websites. If you follow an external link, the privacy policy and terms of the destination website apply.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
PHARMÉCRIT may update this Privacy Policy when its website functionality, service providers, legal requirements or information-handling practices change.
The Last updated date at the top of the Policy will be revised when changes are made.
If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, PHARMÉCRIT will provide that notice or request consent as required.
